The project

L’Atelier

In the heart of dynamic Paris, Covivio is preparing to write a new chapter in its history with the inauguration of its new European headquarters, L’Atelier.

Covivio selected this 6,500 m² building, characterized by its brick and stone architecture and emblematic of its rich historical heritage in France, as its new Paris headquarters.

The Atelier, as its name suggests, is a space dedicated to creation, concentration, testing, production and, if necessary, revision. It is a place for learning and transmitting know-how, reflecting Covivio’s expertise, values and culture. This initiative also illustrates the urban renewal policy pursued in Europe’s major metropolises, as part of a dynamic of urban reconstruction.

L’Atelier, comprising two emblematic buildings, represents the bold metamorphosis undertaken by Covivio. From architectural renewal to the restoration of a historic heritage, the project stands out for its user-centered approach, from Design Thinking to the design of interior spaces by Maison Sarah Lavoine.

Cider furniture naturally found its place in this innovative and daring environment.

The challenges

The main challenge is to rehabilitate an obsolete space, integrating architectural and environmental challenges. Covivio aims to create an emblematic and innovative place, while meeting Smart Building standards, putting the user at the center by offering them an exceptional work experience.

L’Atelier becomes a showcase not only for Covivio’s real estate skills, but also for its commitment to Smart Building, open ecosystems and openness to the neighborhood.

The fundamental idea is to create a place to live and work that transcends expectations, with the emphasis on employee well-being.

L’Atelier is the result of an ambitious restructuring project that highlights the use of sober, elegant and timeless materials such as wood, brick and concrete, characteristic of sustainable construction. The warm interior design by Maison Sarah Lavoine makes for a lively, animated, modular and tailor-made space. Every detail has been thought out to meet a specific need, and each space is adapted to suit the business, its uses and its teams, to promote creativity and collective performance.

The Cider team is delighted to have been able to contribute to this project, as we share core values with Covivio. This collaboration has been a source of inspiration, enabling us to continue demonstrating our skills and commitment to excellence.

Our GoodWood range of desks, already selected on several COVIVIO sites, is a sober blend of materials and textures. A successful blend of modernism and classicism, this workstation combines tapered wooden legs with a metal deck. With its industrial style, GoodWood is the ideal solution for any workspace in search of warmth and beautiful materials.

Our FlexCab cabins are also an asset when it comes to space planning, as they allow you to recreate micro-environments in workspaces with a certain freedom and economy of means. High-quality acoustics provide excellent sound insulation.

Through L’Atelier, Covivio is designing a future where history meets innovation, where heritage renovation unites with a modern European vision, while creating a space that inspires and connects.
